Dr. Shackelford was hired to get the legal work going for a business I was starting. He was very friendly and very fast on his replies. The work done was excellent and I was thrilled with the quick turn around. I've now been in business for 10 months and he has become my go-to guy for all legal questions and concerns. He always returned my phone calls (even on weekends!) and gave me an honest and informed answer. I would highly recommend Dr. Shackelford to anyone seeking an attorney or legal expert.

Horrible lawyer! We used him once where he lied to us, stabbed us in the back then took our money and ran, having done only one thing for us that was originally agreed upon. When we first met him, we set up a price as to what custody would cost us. We paid the money to him, but later he decided that just wasn't enough money and tried to get more out of us, being a jerk to us about it the whole time. By the time we went to court, he told us that the 'judge' didn't want to hear anything regarding the evidence we had against the other parent. Odd, considering now I know better that a judge would always want to place a child in a good, healthy home. Now, we are dealing with a child that faces self-esteem issues, because the step-father, that now lives with the biological mother(whom was granted custody), is recording the child when they cry and making fun of the child for it. If the child cries the second time, he shows it to friends and family and they all make fun of the child.
I wish there was a lower rating... took our money and then doesn't answer phone calls, emails, texts, etc then takes months to even get started on our case. Then when we finally get a competent lawyer it takes her about 4 months to fix everything he screwed up and our case is complete. He did 6 months worth of NOTHING. I hope he's disbarred for stealing money from people and not holding up his end.
Good help with great results. i recently got in to a little trouble and was going to have a very hard time with it alone. I saw Dr. Shackelford and had a huge helping hand. Needless to say i was kept out of the judicial clutches and have a very presentable record for my future. I had all good results with staying in contact with, being explained things to where i could understand, and he genuienly cared about my position and opinions in reguard to my case. Hopefully i will never need a lawyer for future endeavors, but if i do i will surely be goin to dr. shackelford. thanx again.....Michael
